If it has a bunch of adjustments, make sure that everthing is centered, or set at full.
Epa, trims and any other throttle adjustments must be centered or maxed out before programming the esc. Also make sure that you have the lvc set properly and are using a fully charged battery.
Yeah sorry I should have mentioned that. My esc was faulty though and wasn't receiving any inputs whatsoever, wasn't even beeping at all or anything on start up.
They test them all. Maybe its a problem at your end. Maybe some silly suggestions but:
1) Do you have the motor plugged in? You wont hear any of the tones unless the motor is plugged in.
2) Are you using a Spektrum radio by any chance? Spektrum take a bit longer for the Tx/Rx to bind to each other after power up, so sometimes the esc wont read the throttle input before it arms. You can change the startup delay with castle link. Some other radios I think exhibit this behaviour, not sure which ones though.
i tried everything but nada, i got the stock system to work, but now its always shutting off when i crash. i think it might be that my battery must be dead. plus i forgot how to assemble a side by side pack. plus is it okay to let the battery submerge in water or get wet?
just line them up in opposite directions and then solder the +ve to -ve an dso forth and on each end wire the wire or connector onto the battery. u will want more than a 40W iron... (i managed but i would recommend an 80 or so watt.
