buggy motor. starting over fresh.

I'm looking into a couple choices for the upcomming spring, a good friend just bought the NEU1512/1.5D/S for his Jamming conversion, I want to be competeive but not be outragously out of control, I'd like to obtain steady runtimes of 30mns and speeds of 45...is this unreachable? lease help the new guy...I had a project given to me but aborted it after a knee injury. So Im starting over fresh.
