This is the 1st 1/8th scale buggy I have ever owned. This kit is frigging nice and I got a great deal on it!

Fresh outta the box

Started Stripping

Got the motor mount in

Got the battery box installed

I am going to be using a Mamba Max ESC, Medusa brushless motor, and a Hyperion 4S LiPo.

Nice looking work area you have Joe. I like the double 2 and 2.5mm losi drivers. Best drivers out there, IMO.

You will love the handling on the hyper8. I really like mine, sold all of the other buggies I had.

The buggy should be ready by this weekend. I hope to get the ESC and motor mounted up tomorrow. I'll keep you guys posted of my progress.

Believe it or not the tires worked well. It rained the night before so the traction on the track was good. A lot of guys who were running pin tires were turning them into slicks with all the dirt that got caked up in them. The stock Ofna tires worked well but I can see that they wore out very quickly. I am going to pick up a pair of Crime Fighters for this weekend.
