I want to run my mm on 5s. I run it now on 4s and w/the mod 1 done and it runs great. I do not want to push it too hard on 5s

Ran mine on 5S with the mod one done in a rustler with a medusa 2200....zero problems and I ran it pretty hard; as hard as you can in a rustler. Now running 6S with it and again zero problems.

I cooked my first mod1 mm on 5s.
Not really the esc or griffin's fault. I got a rock stuck in the pinion/spur while at full throttle. I sent it back to him and he had a look. Supposedly the mm had alot of solder in one area, and the intense heat that was created by full power going into a stalled motor caused the solder to melt and bridge two phases, thus smoking the esc.
I had him do another and have had great success with 5s.

If you want the mod done pm him. I had other issues w/mine when I sent it to him so it cost me more. It is well worth the money he chargers...he does great work.

from what has been posted here you can disable the LVC and a stock MM will arm and you will be able to use it, you will either have to use an external LVC or have a lot of confidence in your abilitity to not run your rig too long
