Avoiding Radio & Component Interference

My first question is what components need to be kept away from what?

I think I remember reading somewhere the bec should be away from the receiver. Not sure tho.

Also is 2.4G affected by large amounts of metal, is it more a problem for FM?

Some general guidelines would be appreciated!

have your reciever as far away from the esc. twist motor wires, twish esc wires going to the reciever.

if possible mount your Rx as high and as far away from the other components as you can, AM radios are affected most...my 2.4ghz system is affected by nothing

Trial and error is often required in component placement. The bec usually poduces some interference and may require reloacting for best results. Braiding the motor wires, and making sure the antenna wire is not mixed up with other wires seems to be the best method for me. A clean, neat wiring job will often yeild the best result.
