Just back from Vegas - 07.10.2008, 01:47 AM

just drove back from Vegas this evening after a 3 day weekend...spent a bunch of time at the Blackjack tables, farted around the Ceasars Palace mall ( had to do a few things my wife wanted to do), Steve Garvey and Pete Rose was signing autographs at the sports card place.... did some drinking, and went to this Brazilian BBQ place in the Mirage Casino that had the sugar cane drinks that Lutach was talking about once...my wife was getting pissed at the money she was losing...good thing I was winning...

So you had the pleasure of enjoying a nice "Caipirinha" and "Churrasco". How many slices of "Picanha" did you have? Were they serving "Feijoada"? Keep in mind, you just tried 1% of Brasilian food. There's plenty more to try once we head out to Brasil . Sorry about the Portuguese there.

Did you go with the "Rodizio", if so you had the "Picanha". It's a really tender steak and they leave some fat on it to give an amazing flavour. The "Feijoada" is basically black beans with pork cuts, dried meat and sausages and they serve it with rice and the traditional "Farofa". Check out the pics.

it was what they called the Rodizio experience you didnt leave hungry....
I did have the feijoada, and they brought out skewers of different meat, they had a tender sirloin that was marinated in a olive oil and sea salt, pineapple/pork, turkey wrapped in bacon,

I'm going to get some in a few minutes . Plenty of Brasilian restaurants close by me. Here in the US, the Rodizio is less then half the amount of food the Rodizio in Brasil is. In Brasil the meat is non stop, kind of like here in the US, but there are 5-6 choices of meat all the time.
