Im wondering if this would be good for the converserion. I have Neu 1512 2.5F with Hyperion 5S 4800 batt. I noticed that the top speed is only around 35mph where as other 3.3 is about 45. I sure like the blingness of the plat. thanks..
For the Revo the 1515 version of what you have would be better. The Plat Revo is v/nice...all the hop ups already on it. What esc do you have?
1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S
I dont have ESC yet, planning on it to get MMM. whats the diff between 1515 and 1512? i ran my 1512 on my old revo and it had plenty, perhaps too much pwr..
The 1515 is a bigger motor and due to the weight of the Plat. revo would be better and more efficient...( wouldn't have to work as hard, hence better efficiency )especially on 5 and 6s.

the Platimun Revo is setup for racing you usually stay around 35 mph so I think it may be geared lowered and it also comes stock with a FOC
You don't need a 1515 in a Revo if you keep the 2-speed. The 1512 2.5D on 5s will be more than powerful enough. As far as Neu's in Revo's go, the 1509's are a sweet setup. For 5s the 2Y would be a good setup.
