Just wondering what are the differences between the the warrior and the Microcar controller. I guess its just the size of the controller. Am I rite? Im thinking of getting the warrior 20120 instead of 9920. 20 more amps should be good considering the price of 20120 is abit more expensive than 9920. ( the price of the warrior 20120 on the BK website is $280 minus shipping) I guess the price should be around $300++. Maybe Mike can offer better price than this. SO Mike how much the BK Warrior 20120 would be? Did you order this controller along with other BK stuffs?

The warrior has a 42000 rpm load limit. The micro don't.

No, coolhand, that's not right.

The warrior has got no 42k limit. it's the 36120 and the 36150 that have got this limit. (depending on the switching frequency they work on)

the difference is that the micro has got more options you can change, and they claim that the partitial load of the controller is better/runs less hot.

As Serum mentioned, the micro series controllers have lower resistance and more programming options. The 42K rpm limit is also only on the 36 cell 120+ amp models.
Mothman - I do have the 20120 warriors ordered and am waiting for a few motors from Lehner before they ship. The price should be around $280 (listed at $300+on BK site).

So is the 20120 worth the extra money if you are just bashing. Will that ESC improve the speed or torque of a emaxx as compared to the 9920?

No, it won't be any faster. depending on the setup it makes your system more reliable.

Ok I am not sure what that means. Does that mean that the 9920 is not a reliable control? Or does it mean something other than that, more along the lines of programming the control to perform exactly how you want it to? I am curious because I am buying a new 9920 from Mike whenever they come in and at some point may transfer this setup to an onroad car and put a more powerful setup in my maxx, after I build up the transmission, and upgrade the RX and TX.

I meant that the 9920 is reliable allready, but if you choose to run a 7XL on 20 cells. the 12020 is more reliable. It depends on the current the motor takes. the 9920 allready is proven tough for the maxx, savage, revo etc but if you want an even hotter motor than for example the 8XL on 20 cells (the 9920 is good for this)

than you should get the 20120. The 9920 and 12020 are alike in programming and options in settings.
