Neu wires extenions of the wind like Feigao? - 08.02.2008, 11:21 PM

Hi everyone, so I remember seeing somewhere that the Feigao motors' wires are actually extensions of the motor windings and shouldn't be cut, but is this the same with the Neus? If they are, does anyone have measurements for how long the wires are? I'm trying to neaten up the wiring on my truck before I get the motor, if that makes any sense.
Thanks!

Yes, the Neu wires are the same way. Without going and measuring one, I would say they are about 1" long. But to be safe, I'd wait until you get the motor to be sure. After all, no matter how many times you cut the ESC wires, it'd still be too short.

Thanks.
I could wait for it to come in the mail (3-4 weeks), but then it'd delay my project. If anyone knows the length of the wire I'm drawing up the ESC mounts for my savage and I'm trying to get as little wire possible, since the esc is going to be mounted directly behind the motor. I just don't want to mount the ESC too close. Are the wires fairly bendable like the Feigao as well?

The wires on my Neu were about 1.25" long overall with 0.25" stripped/tinned at the end.
