I like the look of the Badlands but they balloon too much for me, I now run the proline LPR series the side wall is shorter like a low profile 1-1 car tire and the balloon a lot less

I have them taped around twice and have to say very little ballooning.

What street tires are those? They look nice for speed runs being that low of a profile.

I actually cut the beads on a set of the badlands and moutned them on the LPR wheels. Works perfectly for a low profile badland.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I have taped badlands on LPR 1/2" offsets, they are awesome, but a bit shakey over 60mph.

My (preglued) Phaltlines ripped off the rims(tremor) my first outing. The glue wasnt the problem. The chrome actually seperated from the plastic on the rim. They should redesign these. there should be no chrome in the tire bead. I have reglued them with that greatplanes CA you have. WOW thats stuff works awesome. It did leave the white on my black lpr rims like it did yours tho. Not pretty, but its not coming off either.

One of the first things I learned in RC was to remove the chrome plating form where you are glueing. Bet you your "instruction sheet" with the rims said to do this.

you quoted me, but you didnt read ...lol

they were preglued bro.

no instruction sheets..... just tires already glued to the rims.

I guess my point was tho...that if I had it to do over again, or was asked for my advise....then yes, I would have bought them seperate and removed the chrome before glueing.

Jeremy1976 - What are the rims your using with the phatlines? Is that a 17mm hex your running? I wouldn't mind having a set of tires for the street so I don't kill my badlands and your combo looks awesome!
