NEU motor question - 08.26.2008, 12:59 AM

I'm sure this is a total noob question, but i'm really curious ...is the NEU 1515 2.5d/f "HELICOPTER" motor 1700 kv 1500w ,the same motor used in r/c buggy and truggy ?? and if so would that be a good choice for a CRT X1 truggy conversion ?? can the MM esc be used with that until i can find the MMM ?...thanks for any help

Yep!!! this is exactly the motor i have in my e-revo. But you should run it on 6s to have a good speed, and the MM can't take 6s. For the MMM, brushlessmonster.com have the MMM in stock ready for shipping right now

the 2.5d is great with 5s is a great truggy setup for the track, its what mike (owner of rc-monster himself runs)

i actually run the same setup in my buggy (way over powered, but runs well with zero temp problems)
