I remember that chassis. I always wanted to get one but got distracted with other builds. I wonder if Emaxxler or maxxler is still making them

I want one.

Metalman could help you with the brace thingy Im sure.

I think a better idea would be to send it to Mike so he can make his own version to sell- maybe alter the steering servo arrangement a little and then crank those babies out like theres no tomorrow.

I have a couple questions:

1) how long is this chassis compared to the lightening with UE monoblock- end to end including skids.
2) It appears to be designed to use UE VBS bulks judging by the skids- but can it utilize normal maxx style skids so that normal bulks can be mounted.

I'd love to know as much as possible about this chassis and its designer- would be awesome to have something simliar that could utiltize Mikes upcoming slipperential.

I wish I could "find" things like that when I cleaned my workshop........

That's probably the nicest looking Emaxx chassis I've seen. Especially if you follow the "simpler is better" method. I think if I could get one I would build an Emaxx right now.

If I could find one of those chassis's around, I WOULD be building a emaxx! That is one sick chassis!

this one is set up for VBS but fron and rear section can be replaced with standard bulk pattern...

it is same exact length as LIGHTNING w/ mono

Cool, cheers for that.

I did some digging, and it seems Maxxler didnt make too many of these, and theres only one picture of it fully built up. I'd love something similar, though perhaps with a wider bottom plate, and longer in general (my Imex tyres are so wide that the truck doesnt look long enough in relation to the width).

Have fun with the build though, should turn out great.

Id want those trays small like that, nice and close to the center with the batts!

Someone here should tool that chassis up in cad, Id buy one in alu, or CF, both is even cooler! And then black it out, so ano all the other parts

That chassis is awesome. Pretty much exactly what I would want for an E-Maxx. I might have to draw up something similiar in Solidworks...
