seal Neu 1515/1y/s endbell cap - 09.11.2008, 06:35 AM

Hi,

today Mike sent me a Neu 1515/1y/s for my eMaxx. I also bought the endbell cap. My questions is if I have to seal the space around the leads so no dirt can get into the motor ... Perhaps I have to seal the whole endbell cap ?
Or does the motor need air circulation ?

No it wont need air circulation. And you seal around the wires by adding a little extra heatshrink to them which also will protect the wires from rubbing on the edge of those holes. I put 2 extra layers of heatshrink tubing on mine and now they slide in nice and snug.
