3670 controller.. - 11.28.2005, 03:40 PM

I was planning on using the HV-110 and test it out for everyone, but I can't try it, because I realized I don't have a mechanical brake on my Savage. On a ~12 lb truck (just estimating) could I run 3670 with a 14XL and 4000mah 10s Lipoly? From what I've seen, the 3670 doesn't have a heatsink, so that's really the reason why I'm asking. Also, with 4000mah how much runtime can I expect with the 14XL, and will the temps be low?

I would personally don't use this setup. invest a few bucks more, than you are on the 100% save side.. you are hitting a 40000 rpms with that setup, the motor will draw some amps if he has got some resistance on that rpm's.. A kv of 800 would be better if you want to use that controller. but again.. invest a bit more, and then you have got the real deal.. :p

You will have got some nice runtime at these high voltages!

The 3670 is around $150 less than the 3695 though :L: So do you think that a 16 or 17XL would be better? Hmm.. I could always take a look at those bigger 580 sized feigao's, the specs of one of them is: Tango 45-08, 800KV, 45A constant, max of 70A surge, max of 30 cells.. Another one has 640 KV, 40A constant, 60A max surge, max of 32 cells.
