heatsink for neu motors

heatsink for neu motors - 09.17.2008, 12:56 AM

i have a neu 1515 2.5d and a neu 1512 3d and theyre both the smooth can motors im wondering if there is a add on heat sink for these motors i would like to try to keep them as cool as possible

You dont need it. In your setup if its ovverheating something is messed up. I saw someplace that had heatsinks for them, but the were crazy expensive, like $50 if I remember right. Other than that I havent seen any. No idea where anymore either. Someone on the board here pointed them out.


I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...

Unfortunately it wouldn't fit, smooth can Neu motors have a 39mm OD.
