LST2 and Muggy SxS - 09.03.2008, 06:34 PM

I am building an LST2, one of those slow projects I dont care when its done, waiting for a motor mount thats not yet in production, 17mm hubs that have been out of stock for months, bought each piece individually from ebay waiting for auctions that went cheap etc etc... then I got a Muggy as part of a trade last week now I dont know what to do, It looks like I could build a hybrid muggy with lst2 suspension with superlong retard travel, or just build them individually. Just thought id show you and if anyone wanted to know specific differences I have them both side by side and some calipers to tell.

Cool chassis came with the trade

Just build them individually. I am doing a slow build on a LST2 as well; driving the cr@p out of my Muggy though. Is that muggy chassis just a painted stock chassis or something else?

Are you looking for the LST2/Muggy specific 17mm hubs?

Hpi hellfire 17mm adaptors work with the muggy and are $20 cheaper per set.

The losi one don't even cost $20, the hpi ones must be free!

But any (or nearly any) 17mm hex will work, just get the hardware kit from losi for the spacers (like $3). In fact, you may still need the spacers with those hpi ones. spacer part number LOSB3517

Yeah its just a stock chassis the guys father (owns a body shop or something) painted with weird automotove paint that works on lexan lids too. I was looking for those hubs you listed but they are out everywhere. (amain, laph, gshobby) I just put my stock 8T hubs on there and I think they may work with some spacers.

I know the hubs for my Sportwerks buggy work as well with the spacers. Lots of the hardware kit (with spacers) on ebay.

Looks interesting, are you waiting on the TDR motor mount? I have the single speed hub from him (the dude) and treally like it. Making my own motor mount, and will use it for the time being...
