RD Logics pre-mounted "maxx" size tire and wheel combo - Spikes

Has any one run these wheel and tire? I was wonder how they do for a all around tire and weight.

any one know please. They are close to the proline. Has anyone run the proline mulcher. I like the looks just like to know weight and how the grip.

I have the mulchers, they are alright, i only had a couple of runs on them so i didnt really compare how well it grips compared to my stock tyres. but they dont really grip well on very lose dirt, but then again what does when you just hold the trigger down all the time. they weigh 0.8kgs = 1.76 pounds for all 4 tyres and foams. My stock maxx tyres weigh 1.12kgs = 2.47 pounds for all 4. So they are alot lighter.

thanks basketti! I run on variest types of terrian. I like the looks of them. Just want to know before hand. I have different ones and wanted something kind of light but gripper than like bowties.

no worries. the only thing with them is they arent good for longish grass cause the spikes are long and get caught on the grass while your driving. I've heard that the losi zombie maxx tyres are the best for all around terrian, but i dont know from personal experience.

I don't know those wheels coolhand i thought i remember reading about them sometime, and the rimm isn't very strong in the hex zone..

Don't tell me that. :D I wonder if some one can confirm this. I have also tore a hex out on a truck by running the plastic nut. It could be that.

you could just run the 23mm wheels then you wouldn't have to worry about it.

I do run the 23 mm hex. I haven't notice any stock size rims that run them. I have some 40 series tires that run the 23 mm hex. They are nice. Have had no problems with the hex on them.

there are stock size rims with the 23mm hex, I just searched for "23mm" at towerhobbies and there are some but no flash crome looking ones lol. I got the yellow and white dish ones.

yea, they only 23mm standard maxx size wheels are the velocitys made by proline.

Well the truck they going is nothing far as high power. I think the 14 mm will hold up nicely. I am currently running the stock titans. I am going to go brushless. Just haven't decided yet. Was thinking of lehner xl 2400 but may go with xl 2800. Not worried about a great deal of speed. Just like to have some decent run time and power. I want to lighten up the weight of the wheels. I running the big joes with aluminum rims. The truck really don't have much as weight added. Pretty stock. It has some upgrades. Cvds flm combo bulks and tranny. rpm arms and knuckles.

might want to consider the response tires. there very light and are said to be very good tires.

I want something with good grip for over all performance. I run on alot of different stuff. Would they work good. I want more agressive than bowties and such. That is why I was looking at the rd logics.
