BPP center motor mount and bearing support - 09.29.2008, 04:45 PM

Hi everyone,

I like to thank Peter for an amazing job that he did with a custom center motor mount and bearing support for my BPP Truggy. Peter, I can't thank you enough for making them and I'll be sure to give you more things to make, if you up for it . The mounts are lower then the original ones so it'll help lower the center of gravity. I'm also going to send Peter 2 knew mounts so I can lower it even more and use a 51T spur. I would also like to thank Brian, the creator of this beautiful Bomb Proof Products conversion for sending me the file for the motor mount. Here are a few pictures Peter sent me and they will tell you guys everything about his skills.

It looks very nice indeed. Thank you for sending me the drawing. Do you still have the CF kits available?

Me too, I have been trying to get a setup from you for a while now... I have a feeling I may have been bugging you a bit, but the chassis is so nice, and I have a racebomb and a torpedo... The lightning chassis would finish my collection of BPP stuff... Unless you make more!

Is that motor long enough? You're not compensating for something, are you? Maybe a lack of power?

It was just to show off a bit . I'm going to use the 1521s instead.

Yes, grand master lincpimp daddy sir .

Just messing with you. I just have a spare front and rear end I like to use with something. All I need is the chassis. Everything else I'll have to improvise a little. I'm also going to ask Peter to make another mount just for the 51T spur gear and drop the motor even more. Should be tons of fun afterwards.

Yea man, if you can get the 51t spur on it and geared right, that will be the hot set up.

Linc, nah you werent bugging me bro, I usually have a ton of stuff goin on and dont have the time to get on here that much. Been tryin to make a lil more time so I can hit some more races. I will go through my parts and see what I got for you guys.

Thanks Brian... I would even be up for buying what you have, and making what else I need, cause I always need another project. Keep an eye out for a torpedo and a racebomb thread. I am almost done with both...
