New Member Just Saying Hello -
10.03.2008, 07:29 PM
Hello, as most of you know, the recent banning of Suicideneil over at Traxxas has angered many people, and I am one of them. The amount of useless threads, those who didn't use the search function, and the texting trash (Or TT for all you texting people out there ) also made me very annoyed. And I also know you guys are not appreciating the new flow of noobs from the forum ( ). Thankfully, I am not one of them. I have been into RC for about four years and own two Rustlers, one is my old XL1 (Which was used as a parts truck, so it is not as "picture worthy" anymore), my other truck is a VXL which I love to push to the limit. (Which explains why I haven't had a full run in a loooong time) Here's some pics of where it started as and where it is now.
I will probably just be sucking in all of the info around here, as you guys are just above and beyond what I know. (But if you have a Rustler question, I'm the guy to go to. ) Have a good day!
(And yes, I know the username is Ultra-Cheesy)

Yes, that is so true, as I have laughed my butt of at some of the conversations lincpimp and TDC57 have, and I can't forget how Suicideneil deals with noobs either.....

The two pictures above are of the same truck. The first pic is how it started out and the second pic is how it is now. At this point, the only video I have is it doing a burnout and then a pass in a low quality video. I don't think it is really worth posting, but if you want to see it, shoot me a PM.

Sure, but they are a little old.
Right now I'm in the process of installing some FLM CVD's, but am at a halt because one of the yokes seems excessively loose. Could this be a loose differential shaft instead?
Edit. Here's the video. Click. (By the way, the girly voice happens to be the cameraman, my sister, not me )

Welcome to the Forum.....
Nice rides you got there.....
From the video, the rear tire are worn off, was that due to excessive driving?

Yeah, I used those for about two years on my old XL1, then thought it would be fun to put them on a VXL, and those were the results.
