pivot ball caps - 11.20.2005, 07:33 AM

Ive got the Integy super duty steering blocks and 3racing derlin pivot ball caps from mike,

do i put the pivotball caps all the way in? so the go around the pivot balls or do i just put then in so the are level with the steering block, other wise the pivot ball will be just on the metal of the steering block and wont it rub ? or are the pivot ball caps just there to some the pivot balls falling out if they come unscrewd?

thanks

the pivot ball needs as little play as possible, to keep moving rather mooth.

Turn the pillow ball caps all the way in, then back them out just enough to allow free movement of the pivot balls.
