My Race Revo - 04.12.2008, 11:07 PM

For those who havent seen it over at traxxas...

Just needed a solid race truck that could take some abuse with little breakage. I needed something with more travel than the truggies, so the revo fits the bill.

Didn't know the AE spurs would fit the 3-screw clutch style. What size pinion will you run?

Yea, I test ran it today and it does quite well. I will get some video for ya on Friday, should have a few of em hittin the track then. The pinion is a 15t at the moment, it works well for the local track. Its good for high 30s and 20 minutes of racing, running under 140 degrees. I could gear it to hit in the 60s easily, but its pretty lame running up and down the street with a race truck......

Did you weld to the exising revo chassis or make a new one from scratch? Looks good, that is for sure! Keep us posted.

machined a new side for it and welded it on. Then smoothed out the welds. So far, it feel great...I just gotta hit the track with it now and see how well it flies.
