Body for a crt.5 w/Mikes ext. chassis kit. - 10.06.2008, 06:37 PM

What body are you guys using w/this set up. I need a new one and am unsure as to what to buy as I bought the buggy used.


1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

I destroyed a Wheely King body and got on there :) It's "Different" :) Wouldn't recommend it to anyone though, LOL. I'll post a pic when I get home

I am looking for something other than a " stock " body.


1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S

A friend of me run a Losi xxx-t body and trimed the tail of the body to fit, but it fit perfectly!

I use a Jato crowd Pleaser body on mine. Had to trim the rear a bit to get under the crtx1 wing and custom shape the rear wheel wells a touch, but it looks good IMO. The picture shows the mini next to his father(full size truggy). :)

I also run the original XXXT body. I think they call it the Fury. It is quite narrow for a 10th scale truck body so it fits the width of the crt.5 very well. I also just cut the rear of the truck body off just behind the rear wheels. You don't even notice it missing with the rear wing in place.

Also, w/ Mike's kit are you all running the stock wing...or bigger

I'm running an LS10 wing too. It's a bit bigger than I want, but looks a lot better than the stock crt.5 wing with a 1/10th body.
