Diff ratio in a 8t? 3.3:1 or 4.3:1 - 11.06.2008, 09:21 PM

Someone told me at one point in here the ratio was 4.3:1 and I have found quite a few references now showing the actual diff ratio is 3.3:1 does anyone know for sure?

8t - 10/43 = 4.3:1

Why do the 8ight write ups show it at 3.30:1, also all the Novak notes show the diff (just diff ratio) at 3.30:1 as well ? Does Losi publish this somewhere official? Not to doubt you, but it's just I've read it now in about 4 places at 43/13

8 buggy is 3.3:1 (13/43)
8 truggy is 4.3:1 (10/43)

They use the same spur and clutch bell (48/13).

Not sure why the other sources may have it wrong, but this is 100% correct.

Just pulled the part list and it does show a 10/43, so you were correct.. I wonder where these other places got 13/43 from..
