FLM BL Conversion Off-Road Capabilities? - 12.01.2008, 11:53 AM

I want to convert my Savage SS 4.6 to Brushless but I wonder about off-road bashing.

All the posts & videos I have seen only seems to be about breaking land speed records on grass or pavement.

So how durable is the FLM Conversion Kit when it comes to full out 10-15 feet of air and off-road bashing (unplowed corn field, forest trails, etc.)?

The truck was ran on a track as the nitro and only ran on flat asphalt as a BL.

That doesn't really help me out.

The actual FS link wasnt meant to explain the toughness it was saying if you want one i have one FS. The very durable part was the part meaning bash the hell out of it.

Dude mine was flogged around the local RC track on the weekend by multiple people and it is still in one piece. It went full speed into a car tire and the car tire went one way and the savage went the other and it was fine. Savages are tough as nails. Also when one of the guys who knows how to drive was driving it he was able to give the buggies a hard time with it. So it handles really well too.

Savage: FLM Conversion, 6s, MMM, CC 1520.
Mini-T Pro: Micro Pro 6800kv, Lipo, HS-81mg, Dirt Hawgs
M18MT: Quark 33A, Y22S 6000kv, FP 2s Lipo
LRP S8-BX: RC-M Conversion, Tekin RX8 B1600KV, 6S.
