Inner drive cups for Traxxas CVDs - 12.08.2008, 11:43 AM

Hi, I also have been ovalizing my stock drive shafts, so after some researching, I ordered the traxxas cvds. I am running rpm true-tracks on the rear in the middle hole position. Do I need the longer inner drive cups that traxxas sells. Also running misc. 1/2 offset truggy wheels.

I just don't want these popping out because of the flex of the rpms...

Thanks guys,
Ted

I don't think so - The extended cups are for the extended arms - I don't believe the tru tracks extende the wheelbase at all

They are officially not needed but it will stop the problem with them popping out. The RPM arms flex just a little to much resulting in it popping out from the diff. so the extended cups allow it to slide forward in the cup but not pop out.
