WTT/ WTB: Kyosho Blizzard - 12.02.2008, 01:55 PM

The snow is coming, so I'd really like to come up with a snow-worth Blizzard.

I've got a gang-load of stuff to trade (lipos, cars, trucks, esc's, motors, etc...), or I'm sure I could come up with some cash somehow if you're not into trades.

If you have a Blizzard you're open to part with, PM me or e-mail me at kulangflow@hotmail.com.

Thanks!

Brian

What did you not like about them? Durability, power, capability ... ?

It's a tracked vehicle and like any tracked vehicle I am sure there are limitations. The videos I saw of the brushless ones looked like a lot of fun though.

I think they're a seasonal toy. Snow is fun and when it gets so deep you can't run a regular MT on it, out comes the Blizzard

:D

Blizzard still got stuck fairly easily, felt very "cheap", the shifting sounded like it hurt, needed the bearings as part of the kit, just some basic low cost problems more than anything... then again I had the nitro version soo.....

they are a great season runner. the track turning/brake thing takes some getting used to, but its a blast in the snow. not sure how much power it will handle before there would be problems

I have one with a cc MM/5700 2s lipo and I just got back from outside with it. It's designed for snow and only snow. I have ran it on multiple surfaces and so far the only one it performs like it should on is snow. I think it has to do with the lack of traction it gets traction on just about any other surface and just spins out but on snow this thing is just awesome. Plus I have some LED lights on the cab for scale looks/night driving.
