radios 2.4ghz - 01.19.2009, 12:29 AM

so today i was driving my baja with my gf and she was driving her slash. the slash has the stock radio in it and my baja has my m11 2.4ghz dsss system in it. i have never had trouble with it before and never has it glitched. i still have the fail safe set just in case.

Well i was driving it and i was not to far away (the slash was just as far) and the baja went full brakes. so i started to run cause i had no control of the baja. and when i got to it was fine. all the controls came back. it was weird. i know it had lost signal cause it going into fail safe mode.

i have also noticed that when its not close to me the signal is slow. like i would hit the gas and it would take a sec tell it finally went. that does it about everytime i drive and get far away. im running a hs-7955tg for throttle and brake and a hs-5745 for steering.

now has any one else had any problems with signal lose on there m11 dsss.

i was kinda thinking of getting a different radio casue that kinda scared me. i dont want to see a 1300$ baja drive away from me (just in case the fail safe does not work)

if any one has any input on why it might of done what it did or on what a good upgrade radio would be. or what i could do to make it not do what it does lol.

thanks.

Signal lag is unavoidable when you are far away.

I have never had a problem with 2.4, I have a Futaba 3PM for my land and water vehicles and a Spektrum DX7 for aircraft. With Helis they have reported "brown outs" this is usually caused by static from a belt driven tail boom, using a silicone based lube keeps this from happenning...I dont know if this helps

Oh man, another out of context quote from the pimp!

And who reported this? The "alternate lifestyle" community?

So KY usage is out of the question, huh?
