Flashing Green on HPI GT ESC? - 02.09.2009, 01:53 AM

Well, I know...
This usually means that the ESC is not getting signal from the RX/TX.

Checked it..
The RX doesn't power on at ALL (I use all 2.4ghz, and my SR3100 does not light up, nor does my SR3000 (Which lights up when ESC has power).

I'm thinking my ESC might have burned out.
But if it did, it wouldn't turn on at all.
I opened it up (cracked it open), and peeked in.. Nothing looks burnt, but does smell a bit like burnt electronics..
Then again, if it was burned out, why would the LED work?
No controls work, again... No RX.

I checked the connections for the RX plug inside the ESC, looks fine to me, same with the actual plug.

I'm thinking about calling HPI tomorrow and see if they know.

Yes, I tried rebinding, no, it didn't work.

FYI: I use the Spektrum DX3R with SR3000's in all my on-roads, and a SR3100 in my ESavage.
