question about 6s car esc - 02.11.2009, 01:13 PM

Just thought of something after I put my Lutach 150amp 6s esc up for sale or trade

can I just modify this esc with a cooling plate and shrink wrap to run in a boat

if so where would I get a piece of shrink wrap big enough to work?

any other mods needed to make this work?

snellemim bought some big heat shrink, but I'm not sure where. I think it was from a local store. I'm a member in a boat forum and I've seen some members there do custom water cooling.

Yes. Just add the appropriate cooling as things can heat up in a boat.

Offshore electrics has a writeup about making a cooling plate. And you should be able to get big enough shrink from cheapbatterypacks.com.
