The only way you can get the black ones is if you buy the rebadged CC Neu motor from the Flux.

Castle Neu 1520 on 6S LiPo Powered Gmaxx (Nitro Killer)
Predator with OS .21TM
Supermaxx with Mach .26
Revo with OS .18TZ
Kyosho ST-RR Conversion
Ofna CR with Tekin ESC/Motor (2)

Well, they're not available yet so it doesn't count .

The HPI rebadge stuff is more expensive. I was hoping to buy them through castle somehow

I agree, looks really nice! The Flux version is cool because it has black wire on it

I was gonna say the same thing ^^.

Is it my imagination though, or is the heatsink on the Tork motor just a slid on affair that's bonded to the outside of what appears to be a smooth can?

Ah, I see possibilties of getting that smooth can MMM motor afterall....

Poo. Hmm, maybe if you stand the motor on a bench, and place the end of a flat bladed screwdriver against the edge of the finned section, then twat the handle of the screwdriver with a big hammer, see if that dislodges something?..

Has anyone taken the monster motor apart at the back/wire side? How do the wires connect to the windings?

Do what too the handle lol? I saw the flux motor at the hobby shop the other day and its cool looking. If you have the flux its pretty easy too sharpie the knobs ( lol knobs).
