So is this roller the same as the nitro rtr truck? just this one is a brushless roller?

No, it's got plastic shocks and some other items that make it a bit cheaper.

It might be worth getting if it was a little bit cheaper.. I would still the RC Monster conversion and sell the other.

I like it, was hoping they would sell just a roller whether it be nitro or electric. Those shocks are probably better than the small bore the RTR comes with. Also I bet it will be right at $300.00 with a coupon from A-Main at Christmas time.
