Very nice crawler. Simple yet effective. Looking forward to hearing (and seeing ) how the dig works. What radio system do you plan to use with it? How many channels are required for dig?

Bugger! Stripped the whole thing to replace diff lockers - add a set of traxxas steel drive outputs and install a dig....

Yeah get is all back to together and get the annoying CC bec bind issue - fix than and poof.... My HS 225 servo for the dig starts smoking... I hadn't even connected the arm...

Anyone else had one go like that?

All back together again with custom chromium steel hardened lockers and a HR Dig - Which seems to works great with the full size servo!

It is a bit dwarfed by its big brother though! LOL!

Looks good Chris. Not sure but the front steering link looks a bit low... Maybe you need a set of clockable c hubs to increase the caster towards neg. Or just move the lower links forward on the chassis one hole to bring the pinion down and rotate the steering up a bit. May help with your approach angle. Or get the ckrc behind the axle steering kit, less than 20 bucks...

I do like the axial axles, I have them on the jkeeper truck I made. I run a lower pinion angle, so my steering is not really in the way. My ground clearance looks to be less than yours, so my driveshafts are almost level. They never bind, no matter what.
