question on mamba max

ok i was running my mamba max in my slash and , it was running great , then i upgraded the firmware , and it ran like it almost had no brakes , and then stoped , and the ESC went poof and smoke came out of it , has this happend alot with the update of firm wares ? i was runing it with a VXL motor , geared like 19/86 and a 5200 SMC batt

That's very strange. Call up Castle and see what they will do for you. Sounds like you did not increase the brake amount. When firmware is updated, ESC is switched to factory settings.

yea i have had this thing for 1 week thats all , well mabey my MMM will come back from them soon :) im gona have withdraw not having any r/c's to play with

been there, done that... going to the track usaly helps, someone alwase has a spare car...
