Castle: Any plans for CML36 motors?

Your current 50mm long CMS36 motors are fine for smaller/lighter vehicles, but it would be nice to have a low-cost "L" size motor (~60mm long) for a little extra torque and power handling. I assume it would be called the CML36.

I to would like to see this, also a smaller 4 pole motor for smaller 1/10 use. I know Steve Neu has the 14 series, But its just a smaller 15 series, way too strong for what i want. I am looking for max efficiency and manageable power

Nue now has a 14 series of motors for cars. Same as the cm36 motors in diameter too. I bet Castle will be following suit with some house branded versions.

Let's hope so. Many conversions are on the upper edge of S motor size, so a longer version would be handy. Yeah, I could get a Neu or Medusa, but sometimes it would be nice to toss a CC motor in there. For ease, I was just thinking of simply a longer CMs motor; would just need to lengthen things, without a complete redesign.

Like i said in previous post, It's just a smaller 15 series, same power and kv's. I want something between the current 11 series and the 14/15 series, my plan is for 1/10 scale stadium trucks (2 or 4wd) I have one on 2s an one on 5s lipo's. I am looking for managable power, not the transmission and rear wheels to rip loose at the drop of the hat. I figure a 12 or 13 series setupwould be perfect in power and weight for my needs

I was thinking along the lines of a 1509 size, but in the 14 series diameter, and at a decent cost somewhere under the cost of a Medusa 36-60 motor.

I personally would make them 5mm. And, they wouldn't be true L size motors. Even though they'd be 60mm long, some of that length is eaten up by the coil to wire connections, just like the CMS series. So, like the CMS's are "sub-S" size, these would be "sub-L"s. But would be a good middle of the road motor IMO.

5mm is good, but for small 1/10 apps, you need 1/8 so you can use 48 pitch gears. My vote is for both 1/8 and 5mm

I would ask for nothing more than adding a 5mm motor shaft option to the current line-up of CM36 motors. CML36 will also be a nice addition as well.

And also, a sensored CMS36 (the CMS-S36 maybe ?) will be very necessary or even urgent to be on CC's working schedule. Hard to imagine CC introduces their new Mamba Max PRO and let their customers go to Novak for motors.
