Lipo cut off switches use 1 or 2 -

Ok I have an old 3906 maxx sitting around with stock controler and motors I want to use my 2s1p 4000 lipos in just so my friends can bash around with me
do I need 1 4s lipo cut off or 2 2s? and how do I wire it up? being that there are 4 wires to the esc |
