Sorry to hear about this. I don't think the pinions are the problem. We run heavier clutches on them that stick out even further and have yet to break a shaft. However, there were a batch of Neu motors that had some shaft issues. They were hardened too far and then were tempered down a bit to make them not as brittle. Do you have the build date on the motor? Go ahead and email it to us and we'll get it sorted out for you. Thanks.
