Want a soft and smooth braking, need help - 05.17.2009, 10:44 AM

I have a big problem when it comes to brek my E-Maxx, the 2200KV makes a hard full stop and not a smooth and soft braking as I like to have it.

Could you please help me to dial in the right setup for me in the Castle Link software.

I would like to have it controled by using the throttle, to affect how sharp deceleration I want. A smal puch on the throttle equal to soft breking, and full puch on the throttle equal to full hard breking.

Regards

A couple things to check:

- Make sure your radio EPAs and trims are at default when you calibrate the ESC/radio.

- The braking in reverse is much harder than braking in forwards. Might be you somehow have the truck going forwards with reverse throttle input and vice versa?

- The setting in the link software is pretty self-explanatory. Start with a low value and increase until you find a setting you like.

Also play with the brake curve so that it doesn't grab so much at a light trigger but at full trigger will lock right up
