Kamodo Tires - 01.25.2006, 03:52 AM

Anyone have any experience with these tire? I see they make a couple different compounds (soft & med./soft) Do they wear out fairly quick on the street? Do they make a hard compound?
Thanks.

Most off road tires will wear fairly quick on the street. I am not aware of a hard compound. Just soft and med. soft. For oin road, the medium soft would be better for wear of course.

I thought you had a monster truck. You trying to go on road now. ;) What about like a set of foams or something? That would be light.

I finally found a spot to drive my trucks. So my driving now is about 50% dirt and 50% street. I guess I'll just experiment with the first set and see how long they last.

What about Bow Ties? They might work with the on and off road stuff, shouldn't wear out too much either.

Here is what i can tell you about them;

THey will take a huge stress from the drivetrain, and their foams are too large imo.. Other than that, a very light tire! i am going to make my lightweight stockmaxx with those tires.

I have them. They do wear out very quickly on the street. On my truck the rears wear out faster than the front, so I just rotate them about every other battery pack. I only have about 10 runs with them ( mostly on the street) and the tread is probably half gone. Theyre terrible in grass, no traction at all.
