are there any foams that will fit these tires? - 06.03.2009, 02:11 PM

i prefer molded foams but any foams that fits will be better than using the stock foams. heres a link to the tires i need them for.
http://www.rcslot.com/pc-radio-contr.../LOSB7206.html
the diameter is close to 6.5 inches.
i bought these foams but they are still to short, they fit more for tires that are 5.75 inches tall:

and i heard the 40 series proline molded foams will be too small as well.
anybody know of any foams that will fit my tires?

so i found two more other company's but i havent heard much about them. first one is the racers edge 40's foams:

im afraid these might still be too small.

and then theres the panther foams which ive read good reviews. but it looks like it will only fit the bow ties 40 series which is smaller than my losi super bolt-on tires.

any opinions or comments...i need some help. from the looks of things, i may have to just use the stock foams that come with it. dayam

those are prolly tall enough but i dont think they are wide enough. they dont say its for their 420 size tires, because the tires i bought are actually made by losi and they are losi 420 series size.
i wonder why losi didnt make some foams for their 420 sized tires...unless these ones that you linked are...

so lincpimp confirmed that the stock tires are in fact 420 size. but now the problem is my losi bolt on tires are 6.1 inches tall, and the stock tires are 6.5 inches tall.
will this be a problem? i know aftermarket foams usually come smaller than the stock foams so maybe itll work?

i would just order a set just to try and see in person, but i just made the mistake already by ordering some foams that were too small. so i dont want to end up paying $35 for 8 foams that all didnt fit haha
