Just got home from the Rc Pro Series round 1 of the north east division at CRC Raceway in Rome, NY. I know that Stum and I where there and there may have been a couple other members that I didn't meet. Stum and I raced in the Pro Mod Truck (MT) class and he also raced in electric buggy. Pro Mod Truck is a dwindling class, there was only five of us, Stum and I where the only electrics. We qualified 2 & 3, me being third. We finished 1 & 2, again me behind. I did what I could to get my Revo ready for this since there wasn't a class that allowed 1/8 electric truggy, however it is still a basher and not setup for racing and handled like crap, and Stum is a better driver than me. He qualified for the A-Main in electric buggy racing against the Team Losi factory driver Billy Fisher who placed first in this class at the Silver State Nitro Challenge. I hope Stum will chime in with where he finished as I don't remeber. Fisher also Tq'd and finished first in I beleive every class he ran this weekend. Overall there was a great crowd, good weather, and a track that started out great but needs a lot of work after the thrashing it received. Overall the electrics had a good showing and I beleive will continue to grow to include truggys next year.
