Would this motor really be enough for a truggy as they say it is on the website?

Yes, it has the same internal structure as the 1515 series, into a slim "standard" 36mm can

it will be plenty for a truggy

Correct! Especially running that motor on 5s like its intended, with gearing around 40mph, she should run super cool and strong!
