That's it? No more RC8T Conversion kit? - 02.07.2011, 06:30 AM

What happened to the RC8T Conversion Kit?
I've been trying for two months to purchase and I can not find it on the site, I sent an email to Mike without a reply ...
Can anyone shed light on the mystery?

Mike told me that he was working on more conversion kits and he was going to put them back on his site as soon as he was done with them, this was about a month ago.

Hi Mike,

Is your conversion kit for the RC8T done a dusted? Are you planing to bring at back into production any time soon? Reason why I ask is that I just bought a RC8T FT kit and converted it with the AE kit but it sucks in so many areas and it is nowhere near as neat of a layout as is on my RC8B converted with your kit. Would love to convert my RC8T as well with your kit it is possible.

Regards,

Darko (aka BIG-block on RCM forum).

I will do another run of the RC8T chassis kits – It will be a bit before I do, so I am not displaying the kit right now, but I will make more. J

I am not a very patient person so I ordered the Tekno V4 kit. Sorry Mike but couldn't wait any longer.

I hope that there will still be another run of these because at some poinyt I'm gonna need a new chassis plate. Mine is tearing near the rear diff casing where the chassis is narrow. Not a defect or inadequate materials though, my chassis brace came undone and I didn't notice till the race was over, damage was already done. It's been fine since though, I'd just feel better getting a new chassis sometime this summer

Does anyone know if the RC8T will be replaced anytime soon? I've been looking at them recently and it seems that they are discontinued at a bunch of stores.

I really like the FT RC8T kit.

I am planning to make more RC8T chassis kits - just took them off the site until I have the kits done.
