40 series vs original

Hey there!

I just have a question for you... Whats the difference between 40 series tires and std tires? Obiviously i can see that they seems to be wider and set closer to the wheel. Do they make you handle better? Are they lighter?

I cant choose between a set of normal bowties or 40 series...

You've got the idea with your thoughts. Less sidewall generally means the tire won't "roll" so much in corners, which then provides more side bite. The advantages of 40 series tires are more apparent for racing conditions.
