Medusa 36-50mm 3300kv questions

I'm going to get a Medusa 36-50mm 3300kv motor to use in a Hyper STe. On www.medusaproducts.com and they also sell the 36-50mm with one if their heatsinks permanatly attached. It is only a few dollars more so should I get that or get the normal version and use a different heatsink?

Normal version and then consider an RCM HS

The stock one will limit mounting options as bonded to motor.

OK. One more thing should I get a Mamba Max or wait for the Mamba Max Pro. I heard it was going to handle 6S but less amps so if I do get the Pro a 4S/2200kv setup would be better right?

Personally, I would just get the regular MM. It will handle up to 4s with an external BEC (should be using an external one over 2s anyway).

OK. Would I be able to use the internal BEC with the 3300kv/3S Combo? I'm SUPER OCD about my wires and adding a external BEC would make it that much harder to organize the wires perfect. I know it sounds stupid...

I hear ya, I don't like a wiring mess either. However, the internal BEC of the MM will heat up on 3s and would be better off with an external unit. Or, it would be a tad big, but I suppose you could use a MMM which has the switching BEC not to mention higher current and voltage rating.

Do you think it would be possible to fit a MMM in there. That would allow me to run a 5S/1900kv setup and then when ever I get a 1/8 truggy I could use the packs in parallel or maybe even series.

Though if I'm going to get a 5S battery and a MMM I could just spend a few $$$ more and get a 1/8 and be done with it...

I really want a 1/8 but because of where I live I I would have to drive onroad 99% of the time. The RC18T is pushing the small areas I have to drive on dirt. I'm getting a job and my license in a few months so I guess I could drive to some places to bash...

Anything is possible with a little creativity, but it will be tight no mateer what. It would be easier if there was an extended chassis.
