Neu 1515 rear bearing busted

I was driving my xt8 with the 1515 1100kv heli motor and suddenly the motor acted weird. When I released throttle the motor locked completely. After 5 seconds the motor just didn't move anymore. Upon inspection it was obvious: the rear bearing is shot (the balls are almost all out). Anyone know what I should do? The shaft is now impossible to move, so it's locked completely.

Call up Neu and send it in.

That happened to my TeknoRC Neu a few months ago. Neu told me to send it in for warranty repair so I did.

Here are the options you can send it in for repair, if you do this please fill out a repair request form found under the contact us link at the Neumotor web site. Or we can send you a new motor @ 50% off plus shipping. That would be $137.50 US plus shipping for a new 1515H. Please email if you have any questions.

Since this was already a second hand motor, I might consider the new engine for 50% off. Might be a tip, just mail neu and say your engine is broken and you can get a new one for cheap ;)

I would have to agree. It also depends on how much the repairs are going to cost.
