Traxxas center diff in top speed calculator? - 07.24.2009, 08:02 AM

I put a traxxas center diff in my revo, what should I select from the drop down menu for the transmission?

I tried 1/1 but I don't think my top speed is 80+ mph.

Thanks

Does the transmission ratio change with installation of a center diff?

The Traxxas center diff simply replaces the bottom gear of the tranny. Why would the ratio change?

Only way possible is to remove the tranny and use a Center Diff from a buggy or truggy with a custom mount.

True, using a CD or the stock setup doesn't change the ratio. The only thing that does change the tranny is whether you have the narrow, standard, or wide ratio gearsets. And those simply adjust the gears on the input and idler shafts.
