Guys, Just wanted to know what type of screws are used in the 8ight-t 1.0? are the metric? I want to order some spares, any suggestions on where to get them from? I want something that will last and that has mulitiple of each screw

The screws are SAE. You can buy them at tower, or full screw kits almost everywhere.

Stay away from non-name brand stainless screws. They will likely be very soft. I've said it before, stainless is a very soft material, unless you get a grade that is low in nickle content - and you are not going to get that with some no-name brand on ebay.
Look for a screw set that is hardened black steel.
