New mugen RCM motor mount. - 11.16.2010, 04:36 AM

Good day guys,

I am currently converting a mbx6 buggy, and I have some questions about the new mount, which allows to adjust the mesh with only one screw (the upper one).
I have the feeling that the motor is hold again the mount only with this upper screw, is that normal or am I doing a mistake ? A friend of mine has already race a few times with this mount without problem, so maybe it's OK ...
I will post soon all the convertion photos!

I'm sure Mike has done plenty of testing to ensure the updated design is strong and secure. There is a thread somewhere where he explains the concept of the design and how it is as strong or stronger than the original.

I wouldn't be concerned about it, it's his job to make RCM stuff solid, and he hasn't let us down yet!

EDIT: Here is the thread, from when the updated mount design was used in the Ten-T mount, starts about halfway down and continues with another post on page 14: http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...=25583&page=13
