Balancing Taps for Hyperion EOS0610iDuo? - 07.23.2009, 04:42 PM

Hey guys... I have this charger, as well as two balancing taps for it. My Flightpower Lipos connect to this tap no problem. But none of my other Lipos do. I only a one at the moment, for my Pede, and it's an SMC 4500 2s pack. I also have a Losi lipo for one of my Mini-T's and the tap on that won't fit either.

When looking at the different taps to buy, none of them say anything about SMC or Losi taps. So, I have no clue what kind they are, so I don't know what kind of taps to get. That way I don't have to use my Blinky Balancer if I don't want to.

Thanks!

I guess under the "More Info" tab on a certain website, it shows you a more complete list of compatible batteries. It looks like the "Align" style adapter is what I want. Seems to be very "industry wide" at least.

Yeah they should be JST XH, which is what Align uses.

From what I have seen the losi uses a similar connector to the fp lipos. But i guess since you have the fp board already your specific lipo does not have that similar tap...

Try the align style board, it is your best bet. I just bought all of the boards, that way i had everything covered, just in case.

Just went thru this with a 4S Losi lipo (LOSB9864) and that is a TP type balance tap.

I did the same thing - I bought the other three adapters for my 0610i chargers.

I only have the small Mini-T lipo. Do you think it's the same kind still? Thanks!

Sorry, but don't have a clue. Losi doesn't post any of this info anywhere I can find, so you basically have to bump into some one whose had the same issue and solved it - either that or spend the time on the phone with Losi to get an answer that way. I was on hold a long time, thank goodness for cell phone minutes....
