I don't recommend buying them used. My brother has bought three off of fleabay with NO luck. The touch screens on them go bad and people sell them. He got a steal at 50 bucks on the first one, only to find that the touch screen didn't work at all. Bought another and it worked for a week.

I bought mine new at GameStop for 110, since the DSi's have come out, they've dropped in price.

you know, i have a ds lite, but it has only been charged maybe 15 times since i got it new. i have heard all of the horror stories with the screens, so i got a screen protector and have always been really easy on the screen. i rarely use it anyway since the games i play rarely require the touch screen. i haven't even used it in 3 months. it's weird; when i get a new electronic device, i get a case for it and get all of the durability upgrades and treat it like its made of glass. then, i end up never using it, especially when a newer version comes out.
